A little about me:

Well where shall I begin? Let’s see.

I am a 20 something year old nursing professor/registered nurse here in the United States. Not to toot my own horn but I’m pretty smart .

I am married to my college sweetheart. 5 years and counting!

I suffer from a extreme case of wanderlust. I love to travel but hate flying…weird right? I am always daydreaming about places to visit.

I love music! I like to sing. I didn’t say I was good at it but my shower doesn’t seem to object.

I love hot chocolate & red velvet cake. I would probably eat it everyday if it didn’t seem to have a one way ticket to my love handles.

I am a bit of a nomad. My hubby and I move about every 18 months due to his job. This has helped me to become much more social. I enjoy meeting new people.

ABOUT CREATIVITY ARISE:

When I developed this blog, I wanted it to be my creative haven. A little spot in cyberspace that I could come to daily and  just let go of all my inhibitions. As a registered nurse and now nursing professor, I work in an environment that involves a great deal of scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a ridiculous amount SERIOUSNESS for at least 12 hours a day. I have to constantly access the analytical part of my brain to answer questions, care for patients and families, assess clinical findings, etc. Although I LOVE helping people, I found myself starting to dislike my profession because I felt like I could not be myself.

My true self. My extremely creative, quirky, slightly sarcastic, God chasing, fashion loving, photography obsessed, arts & crafts creating, wanderlusting self.
